How to do?
Simply dissolve the powder in warm water or black tea to form a creamy and smooth paste and let the paste stand for at least 24 hours. If you want a darker color, add lemon juice, using 1 or 2 fruits. If you have sensitive scalp do not use lemon.
Then with the skin properly protected to prevent stains, you should apply the mixture from the hair root to the end, taking care to spread evenly. It facilitates if the hair is divided at the process. In general, the product needs to act for about 1h-1h30 but we recommend you to wait 2-4 hours. After that you need wash your hair with abundant water. The longer the henna stay on your hair, the best stain is obtained.
The natural shade of Henna is slightly reddish color and the duration is about one month, depending on the frequency of the washings.
And if I don't use all my henna paste?
Keep the unused henna in the fridge (valid for 1 week) or place it in the freezer (valid for 3 months).
Recommendations: The Henna will drie the hair root and the hair, which is great for those who tend to have oily hair. But if this is not the case, add into the Henna paste a little of olive oil or sweet almond oil, to give a greater brightness and extra protection to the hair. 😉
Warning❗️: Do not apply the henna if your hair chemically treated. When drying your hair at the day you apply Henna, use a dark color towel because sometimes some wastes are released, which can stain clothing.
